CTS Animal Hair analysis
We had a look under the microscope at dog, cat, rabbit and human hair. There is remarkable differences between all of the different kinds of hair. We will look at DNA analysis on Monday.
Biology 30 S the meaning of death
We had a rather excited discussion on the meaning of death as it pertained to a story we had read. The class seemed to all agree that you are dead when there is no brain activity and have no brain stem function. We will finish up the year with a small section on stem cells and the research taking place. Final test is scheduled for January 16 and the final exam is on January 31 in the morning.
