ITS 40S
Today we write our open book test on epidemiology. We will next look at agents of disease and transmission of disease.
Ag 30S
Today we looked at the resources that we have around us such as water, soil, and those close to home. We started work on the Excercise: Resources Close to Home and the worksheet about Manitoba's Natural Vegetation. Both of these are due on Thursday and are for term marks
Science Grade 9
Today we had a look at comparing mitosis to meiosis using worksheets that you got on Friday. These must be done before the quiz on Monday, Mar. 3rd.

Bio - DNA structure
Today we looked at the stucture of the DNA molecule as well as how it is packaged in the cell's nucleus. Tomorrow we will finish off the structure and then go into the replication of the DNA.
Thursday will be a lab on collecting DNA from cells.

Ag 20S Finished our Unit
Today we finished up the first unit in our Ag course. We took a look at the climate and the physical features of Manitoba and how these apply to growing crops in Manitoba. We will now do the study guide to get ready for the test next Thursday or Friday.
Science Grade 9 - Done the Unit
We finished up our unit on Cell Cycle today. The questions and the study guide will be due on Tuesday. We will take up the questions and the guide that day so you will be ready by Wednesday for your first test of the semester.
Bio 40S Mendelian Exceptions
Today we looked at exceptions to Mendel's principles of Genetics. Tomorrow we will look at sex-linked inheritance and do a few more genetics problems. We will have a test on this material Feb 22 next week.

ITS 40S - Epidemioloty Case Study
Today we started our case study by counting what each student ate. Tomorrow we will be investigating different types of disease causing microbes that could have caused the outbreak.
You need to be sure that all of your assignments are turned in on time for marks. There will be a test on this unit very shortly.

Ag 20S -Looking at the Province
Today we started the assignment on physical properties of Manitoba. This will need to be ready to take up in class by Thursday. Tomorrow you have to hand in your Sustainable Development assignment. The test on this unit is on Friday, Feb. 22.
Science Grade 9 - Asexual Reproduction
Today we looked at asexual reproduction in lower kingdoms and tomorrow we will look at plants and animal reproduction. Be sure you have your textbook questions done for tomorrow.
Bio 40S Genetics
Today we looked at dihybrid crosses. Tomorrow we will look at exceptions to Medelian Genetics. A test will be not far off so it you need any help on this topic come and get help at noon hours.

ITS 40S History of those in public health
We went to the computer room to do a worksheet on people who contributed to public health. This is due for Monday.

Science Grade 9 Future Scientists
Well hope you have got your plants and music assignment ready for Monday. I am looking forward to seeing what a great job you can do. Monday we start Mitosis of cells and the cell cycle for some of our body cells.

ITS 40S Killer Flu
Is there a possibility that we will have another flu epidemic just like the one of 1918? We will find out in this course. Tomorrow we will finish the movie, discuss the worksheet and then look at what is the definition of pandemic, epidemic etc.
Ag 20S
Today we took a look at how some of the commodities that are used in Agriculture are used for more than just food. Tomorrow we will be looking at the physical features for Manitoba and how it relates to Ag.
Science Grade 9 Intro to this year's fun
Well we started our new semester with an intro to some of the words we will be using frequently. Be sure to have your worksheet completed by tomorrow. We will be working on the Safety worksheet tomorrow which will be taken up on Thursday. Be sure to have this done by then.
Bio 40S Meiosis
Today we started our course with the outline and then started looking at meiosis. Tomorrow we will continue with the phases of meiosis and the implications of crossing over as well as independent assortment of the chromosomes. Be sure that you read your reference pages once you get your textbooks will be tomorrow.
